The American airline Delta Air Lines reports revenue and adjusted earnings per share for the second quarter of 2026 above analysts' expectations.
Adjusted earnings per share were $1.56 in the quarter and revenue was $19.8 billion.
Expectations were for adjusted earnings per share of $1.49 and revenue of $18.8 billion, according to consensus from S&P Global Market Intelligence.
The previous forecast of adjusted earnings between $6.59 and $7.50 per share for the full year 2026 was reiterated in connection with the report. The expectation is $5.97.
The stock fell about 3.5 percent in US pre-market trading on Friday.
CEO Ed Bastian expects ticket prices to remain higher despite the recent decline in fuel prices, he said in an interview with CNBC in connection with the report.
