The board of directors of the airline BRA has decided to apply for restructuring in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.

In a press release on Monday, BRA writes that ticket sales have decreased at an unprecedented rate in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
The company has previously announced that it is reducing traffic to a minimum and that all personnel will be placed on short-term leave. Now the board has also decided to apply for reconstruction.
”"After careful consideration, the company's board of directors has chosen to file for restructuring and freeze operations completely. This will give us breathing space to develop a long-term sustainable business plan. I sincerely regret how this affects employees and customers," says Geir Stormorken, CEO of BRA, in a comment.
During the reconstruction period, BRA will review the company structure and identify efficiency opportunities.
