Malmö City Business Award in the Diversity category, which was awarded on February 12 during the Malmö Business Gala.

– It is absolutely fantastic and I am extremely happy and proud that we have received this award. Imagine getting attention in this way because we at BRA actually live our values, which include social sustainability, integration and meetings between people and cultures, says Pernilla Lyberg, regional manager for BRA in Malmö.

The award goes to BRA for its work with the cooperative for foreign-born women, Yalla Trappan, in the Rosengård district of Malmö. The jury's motivation for the diversity award is as follows:

”"The company has clearly demonstrated that ethnic and cultural diversity in business pays off. Our winner has "sky-high" visions and has developed an inclusive business environment, where people regardless of ethnic background can contribute fully and their skills are utilized."”

The jury's nomination of BRA for the diversity category was:
”"With its regional manager Pernilla Lyberg at the forefront, BRA has in a committed way facilitated the path of foreign-born women into working life. In close collaboration with Yalla Trappan from Rosengård, the airline invited its passengers to Yalla Women's falafel on board until October. BRA served just over 12,000 falafels and after the end of October the collaboration will continue. BRA has, among other things, offered to cover a number of flights so that Yalla Trappan's staff can more easily make contacts with other women in similar situations elsewhere in Sweden."”
