An architectural gem has now become a hotel after a billion-dollar renovation. It is an airport terminal designed by Finnish-American architect Eero Saarinen in the 1960s that has now been given a second life.

TWA's old airport terminal in New York has been close to demolition several times during the almost 20 years it has been abandoned. When it was built in the 1960s, air travel was a luxury that was rarely afforded. During the renovation, extra attention has been paid to detail. Nothing has been left to chance. The entire hotel is permeated with 1960s nostalgia and flair.
