Amusement parks have been forced to remain closed during the corona pandemic – and it's noticeable at the box office. 

Skara Sommarland is now threatened with bankruptcy, CEO Janne Nilssson tells P4 Skaraborg.

”"It's quite obvious - you can't keep a business running for two years on the air," says Janne Nilsson to Swedish Radio.

What rules should actually apply to amusement parks during the pandemic? The government has tasked the Public Health Agency with investigating this, according to Janne Nilsson, who says that some kind of announcement should come before Christmas.

”"Perhaps you shouldn't have too high hopes, but in some way the Public Health Agency has been given a mission to set the target. We have to open and start preparing for opening - you can't do that overnight."”

Astrid Lindgren's World is also threatened with bankruptcy, as TT reported earlier this week.
