Bromma Airport will not be closed, reports SVT News Stockholm.
This was announced by Minister of Infrastructure Andreas Carlson (KD) on Monday when he visited the airport.
– We see that Bromma in the future can be a transition hub for green aviation, which is coming at a very rapid pace. Therefore, it would be downright unwise to close down Bromma prematurely, said Minister of Infrastructure Andreas Carlson (KD).
For several years there has been a discussion about whether Bromma Airport should remain or not.
The issue also became political, but now the government will not proceed with plans to close the airport.
