Now Japan is opening its borders to tourists again, after having quite strict restrictions during and after the pandemic.

The new rules come into effect today and mean that travelers from 68 countries and territories can once again travel visa-free into the country, writes TT. Previously, only a limited number were allowed to enter the country and then through group and package tours.

However, the rule remains that you must have taken the corona vaccine to enter the country, or show a negative covid test.
