A couple is suspected of having sex on a plane in the US. The incident allegedly took place in front of a mother and her child. They now face up to 15 years in prison, reports Daily Mail.

During a flight last week with JetBlue Airlines from New York to Sarasota in the United States, the couple Trista Reilly and Christopher Arnold are accused of having performed a sex act on board - in the middle of the other passengers and in front of a shocked mother who was traveling with her two children.

According to court documents, the mother alerted a cabin crew member to what the couple was doing. The mother also testified that Reilly seemed to notice her children watching, but the couple still didn't stop.

The couple was arrested by police upon landing in Sarasota and has since been charged with two counts of lewd and lascivious exhibitionism, which is a felony.

If convicted, they face up to 15 years in prison.

Not welcome to fly again

In a statement to the Daily Mail, Jetblue writes that what happened is unacceptable:

”This behavior is completely unacceptable and will not be tolerated by JetBlue. Immediately upon receiving the report, our crew acted quickly and contacted JetBlue’s security team and the police.””, you write and continue.

”We are fully cooperating with the investigation and these customers are no longer welcome to fly with JetBlue.”
