A person traveling from Indonesia to Australia tried to bring a McDonalds order into the country when he landed.

The guards discovered that the traveler had smuggled two McMuffins and a croissant with ham in his backpack, writes AFP

The traveler received a hefty fine because it is illegal to bring in certain types of food to protect the country's agricultural industry from pests and diseases.

The fine ended up being just over 27,000 Swedish kronor.

"This will be the most expensive donken meal this passenger has ever eaten," Agriculture Minister Murray Watt said, according to the news agency.
