Eckerö Linjen introduces extra departures in connection with the spring and summer holidays

To meet the expected demand for travel to and from Åland in connection with the spring and summer holidays, Eckerö Linjen has today decided to introduce extra departures as follows:

Extra departures in connection with Easter
Thursday, April 6th, departure from Grisslehamn at 11:55 PM 
Monday, April 10th, departure from Eckerö at 11:10 PM 

Extra departures in connection with Walpurgis weekend
Friday, April 28th, departure from Grisslehamn at 11:55 PM 
Monday, May 1st, departure from Eckerö at 11:10 PM 

Extra departures in connection with Ascension Day
Wednesday, May 17th, departure from Grisslehamn at 11:55 PM 
Sunday, May 21st, departure from Eckerö at 11:10 PM 

Extra departures in connection with Midsummer
Thursday, June 22nd, departure from Grisslehamn at 11:55 PM 
Sunday, June 25th, departure from Eckerö at 11:10 PM 

– This decision has been made to ensure, as far as possible, that everyone gets a place on board in connection with the popular spring holidays. We know from experience that there is a high demand for travel on these dates, explains Maria Hellman-Aarnio, Marketing Director at Eckerö Linjen.

The extra departures will be bookable shortly at www.eckerolinjen.se and via telephone booking. All of the above departures will run every two hours, just like the other regular departures. However, no connecting buses will be provided in connection with the extra departures.

As previously announced, M/S Eckerö will operate from February 20th as follows:
From Grisslehamn daily at 10:00, 15:00 and 20:00
From Eckerö daily at 8:00, 1:30 and 6:30 p.m.
