The Eiffel Tower in Paris is closing due to the heatwave.

”Due to the high temperature forecasts, the Eiffel Tower will adapt its operations,” the website says. Temperatures of up to 39 degrees are expected in the French capital in the coming days.

Last summer, the tower also closed temporarily. It was the first time ever that the Eiffel Tower was forced to close due to high temperatures.

Those who have already purchased tickets will receive a refund.
