The Christmas goat in Gävle, better known as the Gävle goat, is being dismantled today after surviving both the Christmas and New Year's holidays, reports P4 Gävleborg.
It is a historical goat that is now getting a well-deserved rest.
For the third year in a row, the goat has survived without being burned down – something that has never happened before, according to SVT Gävleborg.
Of the over 50 trestles erected since the start in 1966, more than half have been burned down, according to TT.
