The government is extending the entry ban until August 31, according to a press release. The decision applies to travel to Sweden from countries within the EU/EEA.

At the same time, the regulation is being adapted to the EU regulation on COVID certificates and means that anyone who can present a vaccination certificate, a test certificate or a certificate of recovery from COVID-19 is allowed to enter Sweden. Travel from the Nordic countries is still not subject to any entry restrictions.

The government writes that the extension is primarily due to the continued uncertain infection situation with Covid-19.
