The 14 countries to which the government has lifted its travel advice remain in effect, as do the advice for other countries. The dates on which possible new decisions on revised travel recommendations will be made are July 15 and 29, and August 12.
Linde noted that we see continued uncertainty in many countries regarding the development of the corona virus, with regional lockdowns in several countries and different announcements regarding entry for Swedes to Greece.

Minister of Justice and Migration Morgan Johansson said at the same time regarding the corona situation in Sweden that "one can safely say that the situation is becoming increasingly stable and we are also seeing more and more positive trends.".
He highlighted that the number of people with COVID-19 being treated in intensive care is now below 100 and that the number of deaths is trending down day by day. Furthermore, the number of tests is increasing and amounted to almost 150,000 tests for ongoing infection and antibody tests last week.
”"It is very important to stick to this because it can happen very quickly if you have a lot of people together... It is especially important during the summer to stick to the recommendations... Johansson further said that at Thursday's cabinet meeting, the government decided to submit a legislative proposal for even stricter rules on release after prison sentences. Minister for the Environment and Climate Isabella Lövin mentioned that the government had today decided on a national strategy for a circular economy and reminded that the climate crisis is not taking a break because of the corona crisis.
”It couldn't be more serious than we see now for our ecosystem,” she said.
