The government wants the development of electric aviation to be accelerated. The Swedish Transport Administration is therefore tasked with analyzing and submitting proposals for how support for research in the area can be developed.
”"I want to improve government support for the development of electric aviation and accelerate industrial development work in Sweden. It is good for the climate transition and creates new jobs," says Minister of Infrastructure Tomas Eneroth in a press release.
Within the concept of electric flight, there are several emerging technologies today, such as battery operation and hydrogen operation through fuel cells and gas turbines.
The assignment must be reported no later than June 15, 2022.
