The government proposes to increase the amount limit for deducting business travel to SEK 13,000, up from today's SEK 11,000, the government writes in a press release.

”"The proposal is announced in the government's autumn budget and is estimated to increase tax revenue by SEK 570 million per year from 2026," the government writes.

The limit is not indexed and needs to be adjusted to avoid being eroded, according to the government. The adjustment now proposed is the first since January 1, 2017.
