Traveling through Green Spain in a luxury train is a proposal that combines the pleasure of a leisurely journey with the privilege of being able to admire some of the most spectacular landscapes in northern Spain from the comfort of a suite on rails. The Costa Verde Express makes each journey an integrated tourist experience, combining gastronomy, cultural heritage and comfort over six days between Bilbao or Santiago de Compostela, with stops at scenic and cultural highlights. With departures between May and October, Renfe's Costa Verde Express is a premium concept that combines transport, accommodation and gastronomy. The route, which passes through the famous Green Spain, covers interesting places in Galicia, Asturias, Cantabria or Basque Country for six days and five nights. This luxury train has 24 ”Gran Clase” suites, equipped with private bathrooms, individual climate control, minibars and safes. The four lounge cars, with carefully decorated interiors, offer common areas with bars, dance floors, libraries, digital newspapers and internet access.
This route includes stops with guided tours to iconic destinations such as Santillana del Mar, Oviedo, Gijón, Luarca or Ribadeo and Las Catedrales beach, among others. The experience is complemented by meals on board or in restaurants, tickets to museums, monuments and shows. In addition to the full route, Costa Verde Express offers a shortened version of three days and two nights between Santiago de Compostela or Oviedo, with stops in Viveiro, Ribadeo and Luarca.
