Hotel company shows profit above expectations

Remove

Hotel company Scandic reports an adjusted EBITDA result of SEK 823 million for the third quarter of 2019, compared to Infront Data's average estimate of SEK 751 million.

Total revenue amounted to SEK 5,195 million, compared to the expected SEK 5,067.

Growth in revpar (average revenue per available room) was 5.4 percent from the third quarter of 2018. Revpar was SEK 807 in the third quarter (766).

The average estimate that Nyhetsbyrån Direkt uses in report telegrams is based on estimates from at least three analysts in a compilation by Infront Data. The group that contributed to the average estimate constitutes a part of the total number of analysts who continuously follow the company and make estimates of quarterly results. The average estimate should therefore be seen as an indication of where expectations lie.
