Today, Sweden had its lowest temperature of the winter season so far, minus 43.8 degrees in Naimakka (an adjustment of a couple of tenths compared to earlier in the day, editor's note). And it's unusually cold this early in the winter.

– We haven't had such low December temperatures in Sweden in 35 years. says Nitzan Cohen, meteorologist at SVT.

For those who want to be outdoors, it's important to dress appropriately for a while longer - hear how long the cold is expected to last in the video.
