On Wednesday morning, trains will run on the main line through Hässleholm again, both towards Stockholm and towards Kristianstad.

Initially, the announcement was that the trains would be running after last week's fire on Saturday, and that forecast still applies to the trains towards Markaryd and towards Tyringe - but for the majority of passengers, it will be possible to travel via Hässleholm from Wednesday morning.

Work has been ongoing around the clock in Hässleholm to repair everything that was destroyed in the severe fire last week. This includes damage to overhead lines, signaling systems and tracks on the railway.
