The National Property Board has today decided to close the Natural History Museum until further notice. The reason is that plaster is at risk of falling from the ceilings in the museum's main building, including in certain passages to other premises.

The State Property Board and the Natural History Museum agree that a closure is necessary for the safety and security of staff and visitors, although we naturally regret having to make this decision.

According to the press release.
