A man opened the emergency exit on a plane that was about to take off from Mexico City airport on Thursday, according to the news agency. AP. The man had had enough after the plane had been stationary without ventilation and water for over four hours.

But his fellow passengers weren't disappointed. On the contrary. A dozen of the passengers believe he saved their lives.

They stated that he acted ”to protect everyone, with everyone's support”.

This forced the 77 passengers to change planes.
