A British Airways flight bound for Düsseldorf from London accidentally landed in Edinburgh, Scotland, writes the Financial Times.
The reason was that the pilots had received the wrong flight instructions sent to them.
The flight was operated by BA's German partner WDL Aviation, which somehow managed to mix up the flight instructions.
The error was not discovered until after landing – but the flight was able to quickly continue to the correct destination.
British Airways tells the Financial Times that it is now trying to sort out the situation with WDL Aviation.
”"We have apologized to our travelers for this disruption to their travel and will be contacting them personally," the airline said.
