The Russian state wants to sell around 24 percent of the shares in Aeroflot.

According to the news agency, Russia is currently looking for a partner who can carry out the deal, and interested parties have until June 8 to apply.

Aeroflot is Russia's largest airline, carrying 55.3 million passengers in 2025. 

The Russian state owns 73.77 percent of Aeroflot's shares listed on the Moscow Stock Exchange. The stock has fallen 30 percent in the past year.
