Snälltåget is now opening bookings for train travel for the summer of 2024. Bookings are open until September 29th.

On the Malmö – Stockholm route, Snälltåget runs at least two departures per day and direction. Snälltåget also runs its own connecting bus service from Karlskrona, Ronneby, Karlshamn, Tingsryd and Växjö to Snälltåget in Alvesta. During the period 2 May – 16 June, Snälltåget runs an extra departure in the middle of the day from Stockholm and Malmö and during the same period there are also night trains Malmö – Stockholm and vice versa Thursday – Sunday.

– During May and early June there is a great interest in traveling and we are therefore strengthening it with more departures, says Marco Andersson, Marketing Manager for Snälltåget. The placement of the holidays with May 1 on a Wednesday, National Day on a Thursday and on top of that Eurovision in Malmö and several major concerts means that we are expecting high pressure, continues Marco.

The night train Stockholm – Malmö – Copenhagen – Hamburg – Berlin and vice versa will run six days a week until November 3. Snälltåget's ambition is to run every day of the week, but track work every night towards Sunday north of Hamburg means that traffic is limited to six days a week.

The night train Malmö – Stockholm – Åre – Storlien will run twice a week in each direction from June 19 to September 29. The express train offers bus transfers to Vålådalen and Storulvån, among others.

According to the press release.
