At the Copperhill Hotel, as high up as you can drive in Åre, receptionist Viktoria Grönvall has had to lock the large glass entrance doors to keep the storm winds out.
She says the hotel has prepared for a possible power outage by making coffee and sandwiches, among other things. Hotel guests who have roof boxes have been allowed to park indoors.
P4's reporter Marcus Frånberg says that it is becoming increasingly difficult to drive.
– When I got out of the car, I almost lost the car door, but there is no snowfall yet.
P4 Jämtland continues with news updates during the evening.
