The Swedish krona is getting stronger

The Swedish krona has strengthened sharply in the past week against the euro and the dollar, reports Swedish Radio. 

Today, one dollar costs 70 öre less than a week ago: one dollar is worth 10.23 Swedish kronor.

The euro costs 50 öre less than a week ago and is worth 11.45 Swedish kronor. 

– NATO membership has not damaged the krona, says interest rate and currency strategist Amanda Sundström at the bank SEB to Ekot.
