Eastern European low-cost airline Wizz Air issues profit warning for the full year.

However, in the first half of the year, sales and EBITDA increased.

The number of passengers increased by 20 percent to 18.8 million in the first half of the year. Sales rose by 20 percent to EUR 1,379 million. The cabin load factor rose by 0.8 percentage points to 93.6 percent.

Ebitdar profit was up 2.7 percent to 505.5 million euros.

The result was 292.2 million euros.

The company now forecasts a profit for the full year in the range of 270-300 million euros. The previous forecast was 310-340 million euros.
