260 people died in the Air India crash in June.
Since then, the cause of the accident has remained a mystery.
Now a theory has emerged about why the plane crashed, writes German Bild.
American lawyer Mike Andrews, who represents the families of more than 90 of the crash victims, claims that the crash may have been caused by a water leak in one of the onboard toilets, which could have resulted in a short circuit and power failure in the engines.
The water damage theory is supported by British aviation expert Richard Godfrey.
The final investigation report is expected in a few months.
