A woman in her 20s who stayed at a hotel in Åre and did not pay the hotel bill totaling 97,642 kronor is now being charged with fraud by Östersund District Court.

The woman checked into the hotel in January and stayed there for over two weeks. According to the indictment, she misled the hotel into believing that she or someone else would pay for the hotel services, which never happened.

The hotel is demanding the full amount of the hotel bill back as damages. The woman denies the crime.
