The highest temperature of the year so far was measured on Monday afternoon, according to SMHI's preliminary measurements.
Uppsala Airport recorded a temperature of 19.2 degrees Celsius on Easter Monday. This beats the previous heat peak for the year, which was 18.3 degrees Celsius in Gladhammar in Västervik Municipality on March 24.
– It has been quite warm everywhere, but warmest in eastern Svealand, says Henrik Reimer, meteorologist at SMHI, to TT.
