When the Swedish Meeting Prize was awarded during a gala dinner at Marstrand's Havshotell on May 13.

Environmental Initiative of the Year – Marstrands Havshotell, Marstrand

The award goes to the facility that has taken an especially commendable initiative for environmental improvements and that can inspire others to do something similar in the coming years.

Motivation: A heartwarming initiative to help their guests do good. By donating a penny to the charity Save the Sea for all guests who decline to clean their accommodation, it becomes easy to make good choices. We hope many will follow suit!

Innovator of the Year – Nääs Fabriker, Tollered

The award goes to the facility that has done something new or innovative during the year.

Motivation: This responsible and inspiring initiative recognizes how important language is for integration and well-being in the workplace. Once a week, the kitchen, restaurant and hotel environment are transformed into a school desk and SFI education.

Meeting Room of the Year – Boomersvik, Iron

The prize goes to the facility that has the most functional or most innovative meeting room among Svenska Möten's facilities.

Motivation: Digital noise is replaced by the rustle of the forest. A meeting room without technology and without digital aids. A meeting room that lowers stress levels and barriers. Forest floating. Just in time!

Meeting Planner of the Year – Anna Kaufeldt – Hotel Kristina (Sigtuna)

The award goes to the meeting booker among Svenska Möten's member facilities who has distinguished themselves in a positive way during the year.

Motivation Is always flexible and nothing is impossible. Anna is always professional, happy and positive. She has a great grasp of our requests and always responds with detailed and selling answers.

Member of the Year – Forest Home & Wijk, Lidingö

The award goes to the member facility that acts as ambassadors for Swedish Meetings, has a high attendance at our meetings, is involved in advice and training, and both contributes and shares knowledge and inspiration to make Swedish Meetings even better.

Motivation: True ambassadors in everything they do. Nothing is impossible! Uses the seal with pride and touches everyone at Svenska Möten with their positive outlook and big hearts.

Meeting Place of the Year – Thoresta Manor, Bro 

The facility that Svenska Möten's customers vote for as their favorite among the nominated facilities that received the highest average rating in the customer survey in the previous year on the questions that measure overall customer satisfaction including willingness to recommend, willingness to return to the facility and the overall experience.

Motivation: Voted Meeting Venue of the Year 2019 by Svenska Möten's customers in competition with approximately 140 of Sweden's best meeting facilities.
