The British will have to wait until mid-2024 before they can pay with banknotes adorned with King Charles's face, but the British Royal Mint is already showing off the new money.
The current banknotes with Queen Elizabeth's portrait will continue to be accepted for payment, even after the new banknotes are introduced.
