A Turkish Airline plane has landed in Barcelona after a ”threat on board,” El Nacional reports. The flight, with 148 passengers on board, left Istanbul on Thursday morning, and the pilot reportedly expressed concern about a potential explosive device landing on board. According to El Nacional, the plane was escorted by military aircraft and circled several times around Barcelona’s El Prat airport before landing just before noon. Other operations at the airport are not expected to be affected.
