Three skiers killed in avalanche in Spain

The avalanche occurred at 1 p.m. local time at the Panticosa resort in northern Spain near the border with France.

Three skiers are dead and a woman is being treated in hospital, writes Daily Mail. Two other people are said to have escaped unharmed. The group was skiing at an altitude of 2,700 meters when they were suddenly surprised by the avalanche.
