Danish theme park group Tivoli is raising its profit forecast for 2021 as Tivoli had more guests during the summer of 2021 – especially during the latter part – both compared to previous years and compared to what was expected, according to a press release.
Tivoli now forecasts revenue of DKK 650-700 million and a pre-tax loss of approximately DKK 65 million for the full year 2021. Previous forecasts for the year were for approximately DKK 600 million in revenue and a pre-tax loss in the range of DKK 75-100 million.
Tivoli's forecast increase is based on expectations that there will be no new restrictions and that activity levels will continue to rise for the remainder of the year. During the fourth quarter of this year, Tivoli expects an activity level of approximately 75 percent compared to historical levels.
