Danish amusement park Tivoli is raising its forecasts for 2022, after an unexpectedly good start to this year's summer season, according to a press release.
The company now expects a turnover of around 1,000 million Danish kronor (approximately 1.43 billion Swedish kronor) and a profit before tax of 25-50 million Danish kronor.
The previous forecast was a turnover of SEK 850-950 million and a "marginal" positive profit before tax.
”"Tivoli has had a good start to the summer season. The first months of the season have seen significantly more guests than expected and they have made great use of the park's entertainment, food and beverage offerings and cultural events," says Tivoli CEO Susanne Mørch Koch in a comment.
However, according to Tivoli, the forecasts assume that no new restrictions related to Covid-19 arise.
Over the past twelve months, Tivoli shares have mainly traded in a range between 800 and 900 Danish kroner, after reaching a low of around 550 Danish kroner in March 2020 when the corona crisis was at its peak.
So far this year, the stock has fallen about 8 percent and closed last Friday at 814 Danish kroner.
