Håkan Nilsson, Stallgården, is awarded the Tourism Entrepreneur of the Year award 2022.

Jury's motivation: Håkan Nilsson shows forward-thinking entrepreneurship where he has created a visitor destination, together with his team, with innovative thinking, that is completely up to date with a combination of activities in the offer. Here there is a restaurant, café, charcuterie, interior design shop and a newly opened commercial greenhouse that appeals to the taste buds, eyes and soul. Appreciated and loved by many and a given stop for those passing through on their journey. 

The farm, where everything is housed, has been used for farming since the early 17th century and visitors are offered a lovely view of Svälte kile. As a guest at Stallgården, you will receive well-cooked food made from scratch with high-quality ingredients and locally produced as much as possible. Visitors can charge their electric car with electricity from their own solar panels. They consistently work to be environmentally sustainable. With both completed and ongoing investments at Stallgården, the tourism industry in Uddevalla is developing and with their good hospitality they are role models for others. At Stallgården, the municipality's tourism is clearly brought to life.
