A tourist boat has capsized in Missouri, USA.

At least eleven people have died, according to local police.

The tourist boat capsized on Table Rock Lake, near Branson in southwest Missouri, with more than 30 people on board. Eleven of them are reported dead, local police said.

The death toll could rise as divers are still searching for missing people in the water.

According to BNO News, there was a thunderstorm when the boat, an amphibious vehicle for tourist tours, capsized and sank.

Seven people, including several children, have been taken to hospital.
