Tourist on safari killed by elephant

A tourist from Saudi Arabia has been trampled to death by an elephant at the Murchison Falls safari park in Uganda, local authorities say. The Guardian.

The tourist reportedly stepped out of the car he and his friends were traveling in when an elephant attacked them.

The elephant allegedly rushed at the man and he died instantly, according to local authorities.

The police will now investigate the fatal accident and review the safety procedures for safari trips to avoid something similar happening again.
