As part of Lingmerths Group's major investment in business travel, meetings and events, the classic Tranås Resebyrå has been acquired. With its solid knowledge of working with non-commercial customers, Tranås Resebyrå brings a new business focus to the personal travel agency group. Tranås Resebyrå will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Lingmerths Group and the transition will take place on January 15, 2024.

–We are very happy that this merger with Tranås Resebyrå is becoming a reality for Lingmerths Group. They bring a long and deep experience from a business area that is completely unique, and which they have focused on and developed for many years, says Helena Zar Vallin, CEO of Lingmerths.

A unique travel agency

The established and strong brand name Tranås Resebyrå will continue to exist just as the office with all employees will continue to work in Tranås. Tour Africa, Exodus Resor, Anderson's African Adventure, Klosterresor and King Tours are five brands that will also be included in the merger.

– It will be business as usual, says Anders Lindén, CEO of Tranås Travel Agency.

Tranås Travel Agency is known for its very special business area with so-called non-commercial customers. For example, humanitarian organizations, churches and unions turn to the travel agency for their range, solid knowledge and quality.

– I think it is a very good match where we have the same core values, and the merger will strengthen both companies going forward. It is simply a good solution, says Anders Lindén, CEO of Tranås Resebyrå.

Then the transition takes place

On Monday, January 15, 2024, Tranås Resebyrå will join Lingmerths Groups. Helena Zar Vallin will assume the role of formal CEO. Current CEO Anders Lindén will continue as Chief Operating Officer and be part of Lingmerths' management team. Anders will also drive sustainability issues within Lingmerths Group. All staff will continue to work, which means that the workforce at Lingmerths Group will increase and the expertise within the organization will be even greater.

According to the press release.
