Travel and event company Unlimited Travel Group acquires Dutch polar and expedition specialist Waterproof Expeditions. The total purchase price amounts to EUR 3.8 million, equivalent to SEK 41.60 million, of which EUR 2.3 million will be paid on the date of acquisition and the remainder will be paid as a dynamic performance-based additional purchase price based on the results of the next two years.
This is stated in a press release.
Waterproof Expeditions has six employees and had a turnover of EUR 3.3 million in 2025 with an EBITA result of EUR 0.8 million.
”"After a strong start to 2026, where the first months of the year both exceeded the previous year in terms of turnover and profit, we feel confident in strengthening the group's position in expedition cruises through a more complete offering, clear operational synergies and reduced seasonal variations within the segment," writes Unlimited Travel.
Waterproof Expeditions will become part of Unlimited Travel Group as of March 31, 2026.
