Trump's advice to Boeing: Rename the accident plane

The American aircraft manufacturer Boeing's 737 Max 8 model has been taken out of service worldwide after two plane crashes that claimed a total of 346 lives. Now US President Donald Trump is advising Boeing on how the company can get out of the difficult situation it has found itself in.

”"What do I know about branding strategies, maybe nothing (but I became president!)," Trump writes on Twitter.

He further writes that if he were Boeing, he would fix the bugs with the Boeing 737 Max 8, add some new great features and give the plane a new name.

”"No product has taken as much damage as this one. But again, what the hell do I know?" Trump concludes.

Boeing has confirmed that a fault in the aircraft's emergency systems was behind the crashes in Ethiopia and Indonesia.
