Turkish Airlines' operating profit of $1.149 billion in the first 9 months of 2018 despite the increase in fuel prices.

Turkish Airlines, which managed to significantly increase both passenger and cargo revenues, achieved a total turnover of approximately $4 billion in the third quarter. With such a remarkable performance, sales revenue in the first nine months increased by 20 percent to $9.9 billion, compared to the same period in 2017.

Continuing its uninterrupted profitable growth, Turkish Airlines has managed to increase its net profit 3 times in the first 9 months of the year and ends this period with a net profit of 755 million dollars.

In the first nine months of 2018, EBITDAR (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, amortization and rents), which is used as a cash generation indicator, increased by 16 percent to $2.8 billion, with an EBITDAR margin of 28 percent.
