A Turkish private plane has crashed in the mountains of Iran on its way from the United Arab Emirates to Istanbul.
Between 11 and 20 people may have been on board, according to Iranian state media, the AFP news agency reports.
The impact site is said to be near the city of Shar-e Kord, approximately 400 kilometers south of the capital Tehran.
A major rescue effort has been launched, but the rugged area is making it difficult for personnel to reach the scene.
