Two Copenhagen restaurants were ranked among the top five in the world at the annual World's 50 best restaurants awards ceremony, which was announced in Singapore today. Meanwhile, Stockholm restaurant Frantzén makes the list as the only Swedish place.
Restaurant Noma in Copenhagen took second place, while Geranium took fifth place, says DR. Restaurant Geranium was also included in last year's ranking, but was placed in 19th place.
In 2010 and 2011, Noma held the title of the world's best restaurant. Today, the Mirazur restaurant in Menton, France, was named the world's best.
The ranking has been made since 2002. Just over 1,000 chefs, journalists and gastronomes from all over the world have voted for their ten favorites.
The Swedish restaurant that ranked highly is Frantzén in Stockholm in 21st place. Here you can see the full ranking.
