The flight to Florida went just as usual – until the routine inspection of the plane.

Two dead people were then found at the landing site.

"This is a heartbreaking situation," a spokesperson for the airline told Mirror.

The plane flew from New York to Fort Lauderdale on Monday. Florida and the flight operated as usual.

After landing, the crew conducted a routine check of the aircraft, when they discovered the dead bodies inside the space where the plane's wheels are located during flight.

Who they are and what happened is currently a mystery that is being investigated.

"Tragically, both people were deceased. The circumstances are under investigation. We are committed to working with the authorities to understand how this could have happened," a spokesperson for the airline told The Mirror.
