
Over two million passengers flew with Norwegian in June, an increase of 5 percent compared to the same month last year.
A total of 2.0 million passengers travelled with Norwegian last month, compared to 1.9 million in June last year. The so-called cabin factor, which indicates how well-filled the aircraft are, amounted to 86 percent. In June last year, the cabin factor was around 85 percent.
Capacity (ASK) was 3,130 million seat kilometers compared to 2,925 seat kilometers in the same month in 2022. Actual passenger traffic (RPK) was 2,686 million seat kilometers, an increase of 8 percent from the comparison month.
”"Capacity in June was the highest so far this year and it continues to increase in July. The challenges with air traffic control at Copenhagen Airport that affected operations in June have improved," the company writes in a press release.
A total of 78 of Norwegian's aircraft were in operation in June and 99.6 percent of planned flights were carried out, according to the company.
