Taxi app giant Uber has hired Nikki Krishnamurthy as its new head of human resources, Recode reports.

Nikki Krishnamurthy was most recently employed at Expedia, where she worked with current Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi. She left the company this summer, apparently to take over the HR role at Uber, according to the site.

At Uber, Nikki Krishnamurthy replaces former HR manager Liane Hornsey, who left in July after being criticized for failing to address racial discrimination within the company.

Uber has 20,000 employees worldwide.
