Tech giant Uber is being sued for $63 million by a man who claims the company hired a driver with a disastrous driving history who was behind the wheel in an accident that left him paralyzed.

According to the lawsuit, the driver has received more than 20 driving warnings since 1996 and has been required to take a driving course again. It states The Verge.

According to plaintiff William Good's lawsuit, Uber should not have hired the driver given his long history of misconduct, and should have expected that hiring him "would endanger the health, safety and/or welfare of Massachusetts residents, including plaintiff William Good."”

Uber has declined to comment, citing the ongoing lawsuit.FinWire
